Continuing Education & Professional Memberships

Dr. Kilpatrick purposely chooses continuing education courses specifically geared toward learning anything that will make her a better practitioner while also fulfilling the requirements toward certification as a forensic dentist by the American Board of Forensic Odontology, of which she is also a formal member.

Life & Hobbies

Dr. Kilpatrick has been happily married to her husband, David, for six years. Her adult step-son lives in Columbia, SC and they have two dogs who are spoiled rotten-as Dr. Kilpatrick believes every dog should be! She is a strong supporter of animal rescue and adoption and her favorite shelter is located in Okatie, SC. When she isn't practicing dentistry, Dr. Kilpatrick collects gemstones and continuously works toward becoming a credentialed gemologist. She is also an avid reader of thrillers and true crime.

“My mission in dentistry is to educate patients on the importance of oral health as it relates to the overall health of their bodies. I will accomplish this by utilizing the latest instrumentation, methods, and research available.”

Dr. Mitchell is currently an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He is also the founder of the nonprofit organization, Project DReam, created to introduce middle to lower income young adults to careers in healthcare.

Life & Hobbies

When Dr. Mitchell isn’t practicing dentistry, he enjoys photography and videography.
